Make room, Ella Emhoff: There’s another style star in the second family.
Vice President Kamala Harris’ niece, Meena Harris, struck a pose for Prada from home ahead of the brand’s Fall 2021 show during Milan Fashion Week.
In an Instagram video posted Thursday, the 36-year-old lawyer turned her living room into a runway, striking playful poses in an all-black ensemble from the brand and toting Prada’s leather Cleo bag ($2,600).
Fans couldn’t get enough of the couch-side fashion presentation, with one commenting, “Never seen such a cool runway show,” and another adding, “It was the fast twerk for me.”
As the founder of Phenomenal — a charitable lifestyle label loved by stars including Lizzo and Jessica Alba — Harris is no stranger to the fashion world.
Known for its graphic T-shirts and embroidered sweatshirts, Phenomenal supported the Black Lives Matter movement with a dedicated capsule last summer; most recently, Harris’ brand collaborated with Netflix on a new line of merch inspired by the streaming giant’s hit series “Bridgerton.”
Fashion seems to run in the Harris family, as Ella Emhoff, the 21-year-old stepdaughter of the Vice President and daughter of Doug Emhoff, has already graced her first magazine cover and walked in Proenza Schouler’s New York Fashion Week show since signing with IMG Models in January.
Following the election, Meena was reportedly told not to use her aunt’s name or likeness to build her brand.
