The Weeknd celebrated his Super Bowl halftime show with an after-party attended by French Montana and Bryson Tiller, sources told us.
The bash was decorated with a large replica of the “Blinding Lights” singer — plus a cake in the shape of him leaning on a Mercedes Benz, with icing that read, “2021-Forever XO Where Dreams Come True.” (XO is the name of the record label the star co-founded.)
Images posted to Instagram Stories purported to show the Weeknd playing pool at the party with French Montana.
Compared to the packed and maskless events that went down in Tampa, Fla., leading up to the big game, pictures showed a safer distance at the indoor party.
The Weeknd’s high-energy halftime show took place mostly in the stands, with backup dancers in bandaged faces. “The significance of the entire head bandages is reflecting on the absurd culture of Hollywood celebrity and people manipulating themselves for superficial reasons to please and be validated,” the singer previously explained.
