“X” marks the spot.
Madonna commemorated her “Madame X” album, which was released in 2019, by inking the letter on her right wrist in red.
“This Revolutionary Business is a Bloody Business!,” the 62-year-old superstar captioned a video of the experience with tattoo artist Robbie Ra on Sunday.
“Does everyone get really f—ked up when they get tattoos so they don’t, like, feel anything? Should I drink more wine?,” Madonna asks in the video.
It seems the “Material Girl” didn’t drink enough to numb the pain, as she made sounds of discomfort throughout the process.
“Even if I complain, don’t feel like you have to stop,” she told Ra. “Because I’m used to people hurting me and I’m also used to being in pain.”
Showing off the red ink at the end of the session, she said, “Power to the people.”
Madonna got her first tattoo in December 2020, adding the letters “LRDMSE” to her left wrist as a tribute to her family.
The mom of six inked one initial for each of her kids: Lourdes, 24, Rocco, 20, David, 15, Mercy, 14, and 8-year-old twins Estere and Stella.
