Cuomo’s ex Sandra Lee wishes ‘peace, healing’ after 2nd accuser emerges

Gov. Cuomo’s ex, Sandra Lee, offered words of “healing” to her social media followers just hours after sexual harassment allegations were made public against him by a second woman in a matter of days.

“Sending everyone peace and loving healing regards from Malibu! The best sunsets ever thank God for the Ocean!” Lee posted on Instagram Saturday night, alongside a photo of a beach.

The post was made hours after The New York Times revealed Cuomo’s 25-year-old former aide, Charlotte Bennet, is accusing the 63-year-old governor of asking her inappropriate personal questions at work — telling her he was open to relationships with women in their 20s and making her feel like he wanted to date her.

The accusations were made days after another former aide, Lindsey Boylan, publicly accused the governor of attempting to kiss her on the mouth at his New York City office in 2018. She also said he suggested they play “strip poker” on a flight on his official state jet in October 2017.

Bennett said the interactions happened at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic — months after his fall 2019 breakup with Lee, who he dated for 14 years.

Lee, 54, said as recently as April that she was still in daily contact with the governor.

“He’s still my guy,” she told the Today show. “Neither one of us, well as far as I know, has had a date.”

Around the same time, Cuomo was allegedly coming on to Bennett — who grew up in Westchester County and is about the same age as Cuomo’s daughters.

Bennett told the Times the governor disclosed to her in a June meeting at his office in Albany that he was lonely and “can’t even hug anyone,” before pressing her on who she last hugged.

Cuomo responded to the allegations made by Bennett in a statement Saturday — as calls for an investigation into the governor’s conduct amplified.

“I never made advances toward Ms. Bennett nor did I ever intend to act in any way that was inappropriate,” Cuomo said. “The last thing I would ever have wanted was to make her feel any of the things that are being reported.”
